Data Deletion Instructions

Effective October 1, 2026

If you connected your Instagram account to Game Day Autopilot and want your data removed, this page tells you exactly how. There are two ways to do it. Both are free, both work whether or not your subscription is still active, and both are finished within 7 days with a confirmation email from us.

What we hold about you

When you connect Instagram we store your Instagram user ID, your username and a long-lived access token (encrypted in Supabase Vault). We also keep a record of every story we published for you: the image URL, the timestamp and the Instagram media ID. Separately, we hold the details you gave at sign-up: bar name, contact name, email, phone, street address and its coordinates, Instagram handle, website, teams, brand colors and logo, specials text, and your Stripe customer and subscription IDs. The Privacy Policy has the full picture.

Option 1: Email us

1. From the email address you used to sign up, write to sammy@panicciventures.com.
2. Use the subject line Delete my data.
3. In the message, include your bar name and your Instagram handle so we match the right account.
4. Within 7 days we disconnect your Instagram account from Game Day Autopilot and delete your access token, your Instagram user ID and username, and your published story records.
5. We email you a confirmation when it is done.

If you also want your sign-up details deleted right away instead of on the normal 90-day schedule, say so in the same email and we will delete them at the same time.

Option 2: Disconnect the app inside Instagram

1. Open Instagram and go to your profile.
2. Open Settings.
3. Go to Website permissions.
4. Tap Apps and Websites.
5. Find Game Day Autopilot in the Active list and remove it.

Removing the app revokes our access token on Instagram's side immediately, so we can no longer post to your account. Within 7 days we delete the revoked token, your Instagram user ID and username, and your published story records from our systems, and we email you a confirmation.

What gets deleted, and when

• Within 7 days of your request or disconnection: the Instagram access token, Instagram user ID, username, published story records and story reach data.
• 90 days after your subscription ends: everything else, including bar name, contact details, address and coordinates, brand assets, specials text and Stripe IDs. Ask in your deletion email if you want this done sooner.

What deletion does not cover

• Stories already published to your Instagram account stay there. Stories expire on their own after 24 hours unless you added them to a highlight, in which case you can remove them from Instagram like any other story.
• If you added sammy@panicciventures.com as a Manager on your Google Business Profile, remove that access from your profile's user settings. Posts already published to your profile stay there until you delete them.
• Stripe keeps payment records under its own retention rules, which include what payment processors are required to keep by law. We never held your card number in the first place.

Deleting data does not cancel billing

Disconnecting Instagram or asking for deletion does not cancel your subscription on its own. To stop billing, cancel from the Stripe customer portal (the link is in every billing email), or tell us in your deletion email and we will cancel it for you.
